Klára Elšíková comes from Zlín and is a graduate in Journalism and Cultural Studies from Palacký University in Olomouc. As well as teaching Czech in Ukraine, she has worked in a bar in the Netherlands and as a production manager at a theatre. She currently works with Aktuálně.cz, an online daily. Her novella I’ll Sleep Tomorrow / Zítra už usnu was published in 2013. In 2024, her novella Pacanka was published.
