Ivana Myšková is a graduate of the Literary Academy in Prague. Having worked for Czech Radio’s Vltava station from 2007 to 2013, she is now self-employed. Her debut work was the 2007 radio play Odpoledne s liliputem / An Afternoon with a Dwarf. Her first work of prose, Nícení / The Inflaming, appeared five years later. In 2017 she published a book of short stories Bílá zvířata jsou velmi často hluchá / White Animals Are Very Often Deaf. This work was published in Poland, Slovenia and Serbia.
