Martin Šmaus’s first fruit Girl, Make a Little Fire / Děvčátko, rozdělej ohníček has been published in Bulgarian, French, German, Macedonian and Polish. For the same book the author received Magnesia Litera Award for Czech literature in the Newcomer of the Year category (2006).
