Czech Book Award contest organizers have made public their shortlist for this year, which is the ninth in its history.
Among the six titles in total there are two books by our authors: a book for younger readers Klub divných dětí / Weird Kids’ Club by Petra Soukupová and the novel Možnosti milostného románu / Ways of Writing about Love by Jan Němec.
Let us add that in the previous years of this contest the award has been collected quite a few times by authors whom we represent: Jakuba Katalpa and Kateřina Tučková (2013), Jan Němec (2014), Matěj Hořava (2015), Jiří Hájíček (2017) and Alena Mornštajnová (2018).
